PSYCHEDELIC THERAPY

I offer a gentle, integrative approach to healing through Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) — a modality where ketamine is paired with intentional therapy to support deeper insight, release, and transformation. In this model, I guide you through preparation, dosing sessions, and integration, helping you set meaningful intentions and process the experiences that emerge.

Using a collaborative-care model, a licensed medical provider will conduct your evaluation, prescribe and oversee the ketamine, and ensure your safety throughout the process. In our work together, I provide the therapeutic container to prepare for the experience, explore what arises, and integrate the insights that follow. Ketamine’s unique ability to enhance neuroplasticity can open new perspectives and emotional shifts, and together we’ll translate that healing into meaningful, lasting change.

PSYCHEDELIC FAQs

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

KAP is a therapeutic process that combines low-dose ketamine sessions with therapy before, during, and after the medicine experience. The goal is to support insight, emotional release, and meaningful integration.

How does the process work?

You’ll meet with me for preparation, intention-setting, and integration sessions. Journey Clinical’s medical team handles the medical evaluation, prescription, and dosing guidance, while I support you through the therapeutic experience.

What does ketamine feel like?

Experiences vary, but many people describe a sense of relaxation, increased openness, and the ability to see their challenges from a new perspective. Some have mild dissociation or dreamlike imagery; all of this is normal and supported.

What kinds of concerns can ketamine help with?

KAP may be helpful for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and patterns that feel “stuck.” It can create space for new insights and emotional shifts when traditional therapy alone hasn’t been enough.

Is ketamine safe?

Ketamine has a strong safety profile when used in a controlled, therapeutic setting. You will be medically screened by Journey Clinical’s clinicians, and dosing is carefully overseen by their team.

Do I have to continue taking ketamine long-term?

No. Many clients benefit from a short series of sessions followed by integration therapy. We work together to determine what feels supportive and sustainable for you.

Can I do KAP if I’m already in therapy?

Yes. I can collaborate with your primary therapist to support your process, or I can serve as your KAP therapist throughout the entire journey.
